Yesterday, Wolves were linked with a swoop forJuventus and Wales midfielder Aaron Ramsey this summer.
Spanish outlet Sport claim Barcelona are trying to get Miralem Pjanic among many others off their wage bill.
That’s hardly surprising, given their financial troubles. But how is it relevant to Wolves?
Juventus are apparently interested in Pjanic but to sign him, they’d need to offload former Arsenal man Ramsey.

The report claims Wolves are quite far down the line in terms of their negotiations with Ramsey.
But it isn’t that easy. The report also claims former Old Gold boss Nuno Espirito Santo wants Ramsey at Tottenham.
That said, given his Arsenal connections, surely Ramsey wouldn’t go to Spurs.
The bigger worry is Ramsey’s wages. When Ramsey agreed to join Juventus in February 2019, BBC reported his salary in Italy is £400,000-a-week.

This isn’t the first time Wolves have been linked with Ramsey. There were links in February.
But the problem of wages remains and that was the main focus of some Wolves fans’ reactions on Twitter.
Many of them just don’t believe the links because of Ramsey’s eye-watering wages. He’d have to take a huge salary cut to come to Molineux, not to mention turn his back on Champions League football.
It would be a huge shock of Ramsey was a Wolves player by the time the window shuts and here’s how the rumour went down on Twitter:
