European champions Chelsea have been credited with an interest in Wolves defender Max Kilman by TalkSPORT.
Kilman has already been recently linked with Tottenham, after Antonio Conte’s side tried and failed to lure Adama Traore there away from Molineux last month.
My Europa League Predictions.
Wolves have a chance of finishing above Spurs this season, but Chelsea look set to finish third and could be contenders to retain the Champions League.
Kilman’s brother is also in the academy at Stamford Bridge, which is not necessarily a factor in any decision, but could prove relevant.
Chelsea are looking at losing Antonio Rudiger for nothing in the summer and they also play in a three-man defensive system.
Those formations cancelled each other out in a 0-0 draw at Molineux back in December and Kilman is enjoying a hugely impressive season.
An England call-up for the first time in his career is on the cards, so how much would that mean Kilman should be worth?
He has a long term contract and there are English central defenders such as Harry Maguire and Ben White to use as guides, and some Wolves fans on social media have had their say…
Realistically I think we could get near 30 million to 40 million if someone like Chelsea who ever major money come why not ask for as much as possible

Regardless of his worth we must not keep being a selling club unless we buy in better than we have! All too easy to sell for an on the books profit nowadays! Lets move forward and improve the squad not dismantle it!! pic.twitter.com/nursnKQUnB

White went for £50m. Maguire for £80m. So, a minimum of the former and nearer the latter – at least.

He’s not being recognised outside Wolves as elite yet but he will son. He’s a top 5 centre half in the league & can go & play for anyone. 5 yr deal, English, naturally left sided, best years ahead of him. We’re talking mega money. Comfortably better than Maguire was at Leicester

I don’t think we talk to anyone for less than £50m personally

Realistically ~£40/50m

Probably say 60-70 if he gets an England call up and he’s left footed.

Whatever you rate Kilman at, there's a clear precedent been set with the Maguire at 80mil so that has to be used in any negotiation! I don't understand talk of 35-40 mil.
