Wolverhampton Wanderers fans received some exciting news on Friday after it was emerged that they want to sign RB Leipzig winger Ademola Lookman.

Lookman, 21, is reportedly up for sale, and Wolves have supposedly expressed some interest.

However, they may face competition for his signature, with Crystal Palace also keen.

The ex-Everton player has been on the books at RB Leipzig since 2019 but has struggled to break into the first team, making just 11 appearances.

Last summer, the former England U21 winger joined Fulham on loan for the 2020-21 season and was a part of the team that got relegated. Despite this, he impressed at Craven Cottage, scoring four goals.

Lookman is one of a number of wingers that are currently linked with Wolves, but none has materialised so far.

Both Goncalo Guedes and Noni Madueke are on Wolves’ radar this week yet there is no news of an offer. However, recent reports have suggested that Wolves are preparing a bid for Guedes.

That being said, Bruno Lage has said that Wolves are very much in the market.

Hopefully the transfer business will pick up at Molineux following the departure’s of Rafa Mir and Owen Otasowie
