Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly looking at signing RB Leipzig winger Ademola Lookman.
The Daily Telegraph’s Mike McGrath has reported today that Wolves are competing with Crystal Palace for the player’s signature.
With the Bundesliga side looking to sell Lookman on a permanent basis, it is unclear whether they will negotiate with Wolves.
After failing to settle in Germany, it seems that his future is now away from the Bundesliga.
Who is Ademola Lookman?
Lookman emerged from the Charlton Athletic academy before joining Everton in January 2017.
He made an instant impact at Goodison Park, scoring on his debut in a win against Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City.
However, Lookman failed to live up to the early impact and eventually moved to Germany.
Lookman joined RB Leipzig in 2019 but spent last season on loan at then-Premier League side Fulham.
Despite the cottagers relegation, Lookman stood out, scoring four league goals in 34 appearances.
How much would Lookman cost?

Earlier in the summer, Burnley were interested in the winger but were put-off his price tag and have instead gone for £15m-rated Maxwell Cornet from Lyon.
Firstly, this means that Lookman could cost more than £20m. Secondly, it means RB Leipzig may be unprepared to shift on their stance that he is for sale only.
Wolves are still expected to do transfer business this month and Lookman could be a wise addition.
