Jose Sa is one of several Wolves players to be the subject of speculation at the moment.

After the club’s relegation to the Championship, a rebuild will now take place at Molineux with the goal being to bounce back to the Premier League at the first time of asking.

There is a lot of work to be done.

But the summer has started positively with the new contract for Andre and move for Kieran Trippier on a free transfer, which should be made official soon.

But there’ll be several outgoings in the coming weeks.

And it looks like Jose Sa will be one.

According to talkSPORT, Jose Sa is now expected to leave Wolves this summer.

The goalkeeper is said not to want to play in the Championship and is therefore very likely to depart.

The claim will not come as a shock to Wolves fans, following reports that Sa was ‘desperate’ to leave for Nottingham Forest in January.

Rob Edwards also named him after the final game against Burnley as one of three players who could depart.

Wolves fans, how do you honestly rate Jose Sa’s five-year spell at Wolves?

We suspect not everyone will agree about him… 😅

At the moment, there has been no indication of any asking price for Sa.

But he only has a year left on his contract and is 33 years of age. Realistically, the Old Gold will not be selling him for a particularly large amount.

But given he only cost just under £7 million to start with, Wanderers will likely have no big issue making a loss here.

Anthony Patterson could replace Jose Sa

So Sa looks for all the world like he won’t be here next season and realistically, it’s the right time for him to move on.

He’s had some incredible games for Wolves, but also some absolutely disastrous ones too.

But given he’s made 170 appearances for Wolves having cost just under £7 million, his signing can be considered a relative success.

Who should Nathan Shi and Matt Jackson be looking to bring in at Wolves this summer? 🤔

Let's hear your suggestions – and they don't have to be any of the four players pictured!

Raul Jimenez, Kieran Trippier, Jordan James and Nikolas Polster are some of the early links ahead of the summer window opening…

But now it’s about who’ll replace him as the number one – and in recent days it’s been claimed Anthony Patterson is admired by Wolves.

The Sunderland stopper needs a new club, but Millwall will provide competition for the Old Gold.
