Romain Saiss’ Wolves contract expires in the summer, meaning that the club risk the prospect of losing him for free.
Bruno Lage recently said that he is relaxed about the situation, as well as Joao Moutinho’s dwindling contract.
But a report from Spain has claimed that Sevilla are eyeing Saiss because they are looking at the prospect of losing two central defenders in the summer.
WEIRDEST European January 2022 Transfers
Jules Kounde and Diego Carlos could depart with suitors across Europe and Hespress claim that Saiss is a player of interest.

Saiss has been outstanding this season and slotted right back in after the Africa Cup of Nations, playing a key part in the strong defensive record.
It would be a blow if he left in the summer, especially on a free transfer, because Wolves do already need an elite central defender anyway.
Toti Gomes has stepped up impressively, so he would likely be boosted if Saiss left but some Wolves fans have had their say on social media.
They want the contract situation sorted out sooner rather than later and here is how the rumours went down online…
Why haven’t we renewed him? Is Saiss not wanting to sign or is it the club? Haven’t heard any details on this one

Kounde in return then

Wolves won't be rushed if they are required players for Fosun their sit down seasons end and offer contracts and then up to the players if they want to sign or move on

Be gutted to lose him. Not let us down has he. We paid so little for him, and it’d cost a fortune to replace him.

For him, I think it'll depend if we get into Europe.

Everyone who makes comments re give him a new contact, has to also take into consideration why he hasn't committed to Wolves already. If he doesn't want to stay, then fair enough we will use him til summer and then say goodbye
