Wolves know who must be beaten in the third round of this season’s FA Cup.
Bruno Lage’s men have been drawn against Sheffield United at Molineux and the tie will be played between 7 and 10 January 2022.
The two sides of course faced each other in last season’s Premier League in April, when Willian Jose secured a 1-0 win.
It remains to be seen whether Lage rotates as heavily as he did in the EFL Cup this term, or whether he has the squad depth to do it.
The tie will take place during the Africa Cup of Nations and the injuries are starting to pinch as well.
Morgan Gibbs-White is currently on loan at Bramall Lane and that adds an extra dimension to the game.
He will not be eligible to play against his parent club, of course, and there is also the prospect that Lage could have recalled him by then.
Gibbs-White featured heavily in the United fans reacting to the draw on Twitter and here is how it went down with them…
Good time to ask them for more loans

Let's get biggest possible ticket allocation, give them the backing to have a proper go at a place with a great atmosphere for a cup tie with two traditional old clubs.

Should be interesting. Been there twice before.

It's really a great atmosphere. UTB.
MGW won't play for us. Loans never do. Blades for ever #twiwwerblades
