Official Wolves Twitter account makes fun of Roy Keane and Manchester United

Football Daily posted the throwback video below, harking back to Roy Keane’s playing days.

It was from before a game between Wolves and Manchester United at Molineux in January 2004.

Stories of Keane’s laser focus have become legendary and his forthright work as a pundit only adds to the feeling around Keane.

But Wolves’ official Twitter account hit back, pointing out that Kenny Miller’s goal clinched a 1-0 home win that day.

As intended, the tweet picked up reaction from both Wolves and United fans.

It is just a bit of fun as Wolves supporters wait for their side to return to action against Norwich on Saturday afternoon.

Keane may well return to the Sky Sports studio over the weekend, as United visit Chelsea on Sunday.

Here is how the tweet went down as Wolves’ Twitter admin saw an opportunity and grabbed it…
