Supporters have been showering praise on Wolves in the replies to an exchange between a fan and the club’s official Twitter account.
Sarah is a Wolves fan battling cancer whose Twitter bio reads: “Football is everything. Especially supporting Wolves.”
And two days before Christmas, she has tweeted out what her club have done to give her a boost ahead of the festive season.
She said that Raul Jimenez, Nelson Semedo, Jose Sa, Romain Saiss and Joao Moutinho spoke to her on a FaceTime call.
There is no video, but the fact that the club’s official account replied wishing her a Merry Christmas indicates that it happened and was approved by those at Molineux.
Earlier this month, Wolves went above and beyond for Cath Owen, 95, who is a lifelong Wanderers fan who suffers from dementia.
In November, captain Conor Coady also put a smile on the face of a young fan who had been picked on at school, with a new shirt and a tour of Molineux.
Merry Christmas, Sarah 💛
