Wolves head to Brighton for their next Premier League game, and the fans want to see a massive improvement after last weekend’s draw with Sunderland.
Wanderers could only draw 1-1 with the Black Cats despite playing most of the game with a one-man advantage.
There was fury after the final whistle about the performance, and Rob Edwards quickly scarpered down the tunnel which did not go down well.

The pressure is increasing on the manager, and he could really do with a result this weekend to prevent the situation from becoming worse.
But that’ll be no easy task, as Brighton have really had Wolves’ number in recent years.
As Edwards considers his options, here’s an XI he ought to think about using.
Wolves XI to face Brighton

Dan Bentley could continue in goal, after Edwards cast doubt on Jose Sa’s availability for the last game against Sunderland and also this one.
The back three could be Yerson Mosquera, Santiago Bueno and Ladislav Krejci, who might be back fit to replace Toti Gomes.
Pedro Lima needs to keep his place with a view to getting experience ahead of playing in the Championship.
Thoughts on this Wolves XI to start vs Brighton? 🤔
Surely Tolu drops out after last weekend…
Hugo Bueno was substituted off against Sunderland, with Edwards later stating that he had barely trained in the lead-up to the game. He should therefore make way for David Moller Wolfe and not be risked.
In midfield, we’ll surely see Joao Gomes and Andre as usual.
Wolves’ attack will be tricky to predict, but Tolu Arokodare simply cannot keep his place after his performance against Sunderland.
Adam Armstrong should lead the line, and potentially have support coming from Mateus Mane and Jean-Ricner Bellegarde.
That forward line has the creativity and industry to hopefully cause Brighton some problems.
Wolves’ recent record vs Brighton is grim
Wolves getting a win on Saturday will take a huge effort.
Not only are they in good form right now, and pushing for European football, but their record against Wolves in recent years has been very solid.
Wolves fans, let’s hear those score predictions for the game with Brighton? 👀
The Seagulls have given us a fair bit of trouble in recent times…
Wanderers have won just one of the last 10 meetings across all competitions.
That win came in the FA Cup in February 2024.
Wolves’ last Premier League win against Brighton came back in December 2021 under Bruno Lage, when Romain Saiss scored in a 1-0 win at the Amex Stadium.
