Paul Merson has predicted the result of Wolves’ trip to Aston Villa this weekend for Sportskeeda.
Wolves will travel to Villa Park after the international break for Bruno Lage’s first Midlands derby in charge.
Former Arsenal and England man Merson, who also works as a pundit for Sky Sports, is not confident about Wolves getting a result.
There was praise for talisman Raul Jimenez but criticism of Wolves’ overall finishing.

Merson’s prediction
“Good game! Aston Villa, in my opinion, are waiting to explode.
“I always keep saying that when you play the likes of Brighton and Aston Villa in the Premier League and come away with three points, they are really good wins.
“Wolves miss way too many chances for my liking, although Raul Jimenez seems to be back in form.
“The goal he scored against Southampton was absolutely mindblowing, but this is a big derby game and I’m going to go for a Villa win. Villa 2-1 Wolves.

Wolves picked up two wins before the international break and will hope that their momentum can continue here.
Jimenez’s long trip back from Mexico duty may pose a selection headache, but Lage will hope he is fit to start.
There is no reason Wolves cannot get a result here, especially with Hwang Hee-Chan in such devastating form.
