Wolves fans are looking forward to a big summer, and the club looks to be after a player who was first linked when Julen Lopetegui was head coach at Molineux.
The club have been relegated to the Championship, which had been on the cards for some time.
Who should Nathan Shi and Matt Jackson be looking to bring in at Wolves this summer? 🤔
Let's hear your suggestions – and they don't have to be any of the four players pictured!
For a lot of people that reality set in a while back. And now, there is actually a fair amount of optimism ahead of the summer, and a new challenge.
The recent new contract for Andre has improved the mood a little.
And Wolves agreeing a deal to sign Kieran Trippier has always been welcomed.
With Joao Gomes set to leave though, it looks like Andre could do with a new midfield partner – and the club are said to have eyes on Jordan James.
Wolves want Jordan James

According to The Telegraph, Wolves are admirers of midfielder Jordan James, who has returned to his parent club Rennes, after a loan spell at Leicester City.
While it was a disastrous season for Leicester, who suffered relegation to League One, James himself enjoyed a great campaign.
He had a clean sweep of the club’s end-of-season awards, winning Men’s Player of the Season, Players’ Player of the Season and Young Player of the Season.
James was also named the Young Player of the Season for the whole Championship.
So this is a player of real quality and potential, and Wolves are said to be keen.
However, there is competition for the midfielder ‘from clubs in the top division’, so say The Telegraph.
Julen Lopetegui wanted Jordan James
Interestingly this is not actually the first time Wolves have been linked with James.
Back in the summer of 2023, it was claimed that Wolves held an interest in James (via Alan Nixon), who was 19 at the time.
Everton and Tottenham Hotspur were also sniffing around.

Of course, Julen Lopetegui was the head coach at the time, and the club were losing both Ruben Neves and Joao Moutinho.
James had been impressing at Birmingham City at the time.
But in the end there was to be no move by Wolves, and Lopetegui famously left the club out of frustration over recruitment.
