Sasa Kalajdzic has been discussing his immediate future, after the striker spent last season away from Wolves.
The Austria international, who featured in his country’s opening World Cup match against Jordan, spent the 2025/26 campaign with LASK back in his homeland.
The purpose of the move was simple.
Should any of these NOT be on this list? And are there any who aren’t there who SHOULD be on? 🤔
The Athletic have claimed Wolves would like these nine players to stay after relegation…
Wolves wanted Sasa Kalajdzic to get regular minutes under his belt, after suffering his second serious knee injury while playing on loan at Eintracht Frankfurt.
That was actually the third ACL injury of his playing career, so Wanderers very much wanted him to come through a full season unscathed.
He did that, and was actually quite productive in terms of his numbers.
Now, Kalajdzic has been speaking about his future, as Wolves fans wonder if we’ll see him in Old Gold next term.
Wolves should keep Sasa Kalajdzic as rotation option

Speaking in a video on the Wolves YouTube channel, Kalajdzic said: “I am looking forward to the conversations I am going to have. If I am there, I will give it my all.
“Maybe it is unfinished business. At the end of the day we will see what happens in the summer and what is the best for both.”
So that’s a hint he would be happy to remain – and Wolves should make that happen.
New head coach Cesar Peixoto has played almost exclusively with a lone striker during his managerial career so far.
Raul Jimenez is 35 and not going to play every single game, so a rotation option is needed and Kalajdzic seems like a brilliant player to have in reserve.
Surely him being a rotation option would allow both him and Jimenez to maximise their quality.
Throw into the mix Adam Armstrong, and you’ve then got three really good options to head the Championship season.
Last term, Kalajdzic scored seven goals and 11 assists in 29 appearances for LASK, indicating that he has plenty to offer.
How would you feel about Wolves bringing Sasa Kalajdzic back into the fold next season? Would it be wise?
Seven goals and 11 assists on loan at LASK in 25/26… 👀
Two of those assists came in the final of the Austrian Cup, with LASK taking home the trophy. That was in addition to the league title.
Kalajdzic also showed his eye for the spectacular, scoring from his own half in a game against Hartberg.
Tolu Arokodare is reportedly likely to leave after his bust-up with Mateus Mane, so Wolves would be needing another body and Kalajdzic seems like a sensible option and the club would obviously not have to spend money in the transfer market.
