Sasa Kalajdzic put in quite the performance for LASK today, with the striker set to return to Wolves soon.
The striker has been on loan with the Austrian outfit since the start of the season, and has been looking to use the spell to get back on track after injury.
Should any of these NOT be on this list? And are there any who aren’t there who SHOULD be on? 🤔
The Athletic have claimed Wolves would like these nine players to stay after relegation…
Sasa Kalajdzic suffered a second serious knee injury while on loan at Eintracht Frankfurt in 2023/24, which completely robbed him of the following campaign.
He has certainly been extremely unlucky over the past few years.
But in 2026 he’s been finding his feet – and today for LASK he produced a magnificent performance that featured a goal of the season contender.
What Sasa Kalajdzic did for LASK against Hartberg

Kalajdzic recently went on a run of scoring in three games in a row for LASK in the Austrian top-flight.
He then blanked against Sturm Graz, but today against Hartberg he was on fire.
Kalajdzic scored two goals, one of which actually came from the halfway line.
This was the final goal of the game, coming in the 95th minute which capped off a great day at the office for LASK.
Not content with scoring a brace, Kalajdzic also provided an assist in the game, which was his fourth of the season across all competitions.

Kalajdzic could yet be a Championship option for Wolves
Kalajdzic’s time as a Wolves player has been fairly torrid due to the two ACL injuries he suffered.
He joined the club in 2021 but we’ve not seen a great deal of him as a result, with the striker making just 16 first-team appearances to date.
He will be out of contract next summer, so Wolves will be presented with an interesting scenario.
Obviously, Wolves have now been relegated, meaning it’s Championship football next season.
Wolves are highly likely to move Tolu Arokodare on after his recent bust-up with Mateus Mane, and there will be a need to sign at least one new striker.
Hwang Hee-chan may also depart.

Perhaps this recent purple patch suggests Kalajdzic may yet be able to play a part for Wolves in the second tier.
However, given his injury record, it would be no surprise if Wolves were willing to hear offers for the player to see how much they can make back on him.
After all, there is the relentlessness of the Championship schedule to factor in.
But if suitable offers weren’t forthcoming and Kalajdzic was ready to stay then it would be nice to think he could finally have a prolonged impact for Wanderers.
