Leeds United are willing to pay a club-record £40 million to sign Wolves wideman Adama Traore this summer, according to Eurosport.
They report that previous indications are that Traore would command more like double that – £80 million.
But in the current financial climate, Leeds are apparently trying to find out how much it would take to land the Spaniard.
Some Wolves fans on Twitter have laughed off the report, claiming that’s not enough to land one of their best players.

Traore is currently off at Euro 2020 with his country, but he was an unused substitute in their 0-0 draw with Sweden in Seville on Tuesday.
A strong summer there would likely send his market value soaring, and Luis Enrique may ring the changes after a disappointing opening night for his team.
Some Old Gold supporters don’t want to see him go, and if he does, it’s clear they’re not happy with the mooted fee.
