Bruno Lage developed a reputation for bringing through young talent during his reign at Benfica.
The likes of Joao Felix came into the first team on his watch and he is a former youth coach.
Now, he apparently has his sights set on another young player from his former employers.
Portuguese outlet O Novo claim that Wolves are keen on teenager Goncalo Ramos.
There’s two ways to look at the rumour. One is that Wolves have a young forward in Fabio Silva already and need more established signings this summer.
The other is that Ramos could well be a star of the future and would be working under a manager in Lage who knows how to develop young talent.
There was considerable excitement among some fans on Twitter when they saw the rumour.
Here’s how it went down online as Lage gets to work on his squad for his maiden season in English football:
He would bolster the first team. We have one fully fit striker and under Bruno Lage we’re likely to play 2. Goncalo Ramos soul obviously not be playing for our under 23s so he’d give us an extra attacking option.

on a real note, would we need him since we have Fabio tho? Wouldn’t we need a slightly older backup striker?
