Andre has emerged as a target for Leeds United, with an exodus to commence soon at Wolves.
The club’s relegation from the Premier League was confirmed last week, bringing an eight-year stay in the top-flight to an end.
Wolves will now make a raft of changes to their squad to prepare for the Championship.
Should any of these NOT be on this list? And are there any who aren’t there who SHOULD be on? 🤔
The Athletic have claimed Wolves would like these nine players to stay after relegation…
While Wolves would like to keep a number of players around, there’s a chance that many will depart.
Plenty will attract interest and Wolves need to think about selling in order to enter the new season on a sound financial footing.
Andre is one player who is widely expected to leave.
And just this week it was suggested Juventus were keen on Andre again, but now Leeds United are in the picture.
Leeds eye Andre
According to RTI Esporte, Leeds United are showing interest in Andre ahead of the summer.
And it’s claimed the Whites could offer around £35 million for the Brazilian midfielder.
Earlier this week another publication had suggested that Andre had a selling range of about £26 million to £34.6 million.

So seemingly Leeds could offer slightly above that range. However, some will still argue that Andre is worth a bit more. Especially with Wolves reportedly valuing Joao Gomes at about £40 million.
Leeds have also been linked with Ladislav Krejci, so seemingly they are fully ready to try and take advantage of Wolves’ relegation.
Andre has certainly been a top player for Wolves and will be missed when he goes.
But potentially, the Old Gold may already have someone well placed to step into his shoes.
Tommy Doyle could replace Andre at Wolves
It will be very difficult to find a good replacement for Andre this summer, but one man who might well be up to the task if Tommy Doyle.
Unfancied by Vitor Pereira who preferred more physical players, Doyle has a similar style of play to Andre.
He is clearly not on the same level, but Doyle does like to pick up those deep midfield positions and try to dictate games with his passing range.
He’s spoken before about favouring a holding midfield role, and now could be his chance with Andre practically certain to move on.
Rob Edwards recently suggested he would look at Doyle ahead of the 2026/27 season, and one would think he’ll see him as a viable option.

Edwards hasn’t yet worked with Doyle at Wolves, but knows about him from his time working with the England FA.
Doyle has a wealth of experience in the Championship now and is absolutely a player who should be brought back into the fold after his loan at Birmingham City.
It has been a bit of a mixed spell for him at Blues, but Doyle now has a golden chance to finally become a regular starter at Molineux, three years on from when he first signed on an initial loan.
