Yerson Mosquera is already on Premier League radars ahead of next season, with Wolves set to drop into the Championship.
Wolves’ relegation from the top-flight will soon be confirmed.
There is potential for that to be as early as this weekend if certain results occur.
Wolves fans, talk to us about Yerson Mosquera…
Does his ability and potential make up for the chaos he brings? What kind of level do you see him reaching? 🤔
And once it happens, talk about Wolves players moving on will no doubt go into overdrive.
And it seems Yerson Mosquera is now firmly in the frame for a move if his development continues at the current rate.
The defender was the subject of some chat on the latest E&S podcast, with Liam Keen confirming the Colombian does have eyes on him heading into the summer.
Premier League clubs are already monitoring Mosquera
Keen said: “I’ve got it on good authority that there are Premier League clubs looking at Yerson Mosquera for next season, by the way.
Keen then spoke about Mosquera’s disciplinary issues, with the player picking up a needless booking against West Ham United to earn himself a two-game suspension.
He then added: “It does damage Wolves and it does damage him.

“Do I think it will damage his career? Probably not to be honest. I’m not saying Barcelona are going to come in for him tomorrow. But there are clubs looking at him and there are clubs that like him.”
While he has been an agent of chaos at times, Mosquera has been building through his performances.
And his displays have seemingly attracted attention from Premier League clubs. At this stage it’s unclear which ones specifically are looking at the South American.
Mosquera would be brilliant in the Championship for Wolves
Mosquera has collected 14 yellow cards in 33 games for Wolves, which isn’t good. But there is little doubt that he’s proven himself at Premier League level.
Wolves are likely to want to keep Mosquera – who cost £4.5 million (BBC Sport) – as he’d be a fantastic fit for the Championship with his physicality.
But it seems now there is a chance he won’t be around, with Premier League clubs watching him.
It remains to be seen what kind of offers come in for him, but it looks like his lack of discipline and love of dark arts has won him some admirers.
