Wolves transfer news: West Ham join hunt for Molineux-linked Roman Yaremchuk

Wolverhampton Wanderers have apparently been joined in the hunt for striker Roman Yaremchuk.

According to the Express, West Ham United are now expressing an interest in the Ukraine international.

The Hammers have long been relying on Michail Antonio to lead their line. That’s despite him not being a natural striker.

It is therefore no surprise to learn of their interest in 6ft in powerhouse Yaremchuk, who netted 23 times last term.

Het Laaste Nieuws reported recently that Wolves were keen on the 25-year-old.

Last month, Voetbal Primeur produced an article in which they claimed Gent are resigned to losing their talisman this summer.

Currently, Yaremchuk is with the Ukraine squad at Euro 2020, and he wowed fans with his first performance in the country’s first game against the Netherlands on Sunday.

His showing against the Netherlands was highly impressive.

It is little surprise to be reading about other teams coming to the table.

If Wolves have any interest in him, it’s likely going to be a real fight to land him.

Indeed, the Express also mention that Sevilla, Bologna and Bayer Leverkusen are keen, and Wolves may have their work out.
