Wolves have only just signed Joao Gomes, but a Brazilian outlet has made a rather big claim about the midfielder and the club’s feeling about him..
Gomes came in at the end of January, joining the club for around £15 million from Flamengo.

The transfer was touch and go at one point, with Lyon coming in with a bigger bid than Wolves.
In the end, a move did materialise, with Gomes always insisting he wanted to join Wolves and not the French club.
His role in the transfer has already made him a very popular figure at Molineux.
The hope certainly among the fans is that Gomes can soon break into the starting XI and go on to become a top player at the club. Perhaps in a similar way to Ruben Neves.
But a report from Brazil has suggested that Wolves might actually looking to turn a quick profit on Gomes.

Bolavip have claimed that Gomes has really been impressing in training, and that he can eventually become a regular.
The club apparently feel that he can be sold for somewhere between €35-45 million (£30-£40 million).
Bolavip bring this story because Flamengo stand to gain from any sale of Gomes.
The star came through their academy and stayed at the club until he was 21, so they are entitled to a cut of any fee.
It is sad to think Wolves might consider selling Joao Gomes after only a couple of seasons
This is a very interesting claim from Bolavip.
Gomes has hardly played so far for Wolves, although he has caught the eye. And of course, he enjoyed a dream debut against Southampton with his stunning winner from the edge of the box.

The Brazilian has huge potential.
Hopefully Wolves don’t sell him too soon. He does have a contract until 2028. That surely gives Wolves at least a few years of Gomes before can be considered.
