Nuno Espirito Santo is ready to raid Wolves, with the Tottenham Hotspur manager reportedly keen to sign Adama Traore.
The Daily Mail claim the 47-year-old is keen to reunite with the Spaniard.
Traore, who has been with Wolves for three years, is someone whose future has been up in the air for most of 2021.
Supposedly talks over a new contract at Molineux had stalled, and were then back on.
The situation has been quiet since May though.
Since then, Liverpool, Chelsea and Leeds United have been linked, with the Whites having offered £30 million according to Duncan Castles.
Now, Spurs and Nuno have joined the race.
Wolves are open to letting him leave for the right price.
The club are yet to receive any offers for the 25-year-old.
Nuno is, of course, a big fan of Traore. Back in March, he said of the player (Express & Star): “He’s special and unique. You never know, you’re waiting for that special thing to happen, but it’s there. There’s no doubt about that, it’s there.”
£45 million at least
Ideally Wolves will keep Traore.
But he does only have two years left on his contract, which forces the club to consider a sale.
It seems finances are tight this summer, as is the case for a lot of clubs.
If the big player sale is to be Traore, then surely Molineux officials should be seeking a fee that’s on par with the £45 million Liverpool paid for Diogo Jota last year.
