Union Berlin are having an absolutely superb season over in the Bundesliga.

They currently sit third in the table, but have the same number of points as Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund.

And Khedira – who is the younger brother of World Cup winner Sami – has been one of the standout players for Union.

The midfielder, 29, has made 20 appearances in the league so far, missing just one game through suspension. He’s also made a further eight appearances in the Europa League and two in the DFB-Pokal.

90min say that scouts from many clubs were in attendance to watch Khedira play against Ajax in the Europa League on Thursday.

He put in an outstanding display in a 3-1 win for Union.

Apparently, representatives from Everton, Leicester, Liverpool, Newcastle, Tottenham, West Ham and Wolves were present.

Wolves could potentially lose several midfielders this summer.

Ruben Neves continues to shine for Wolves but many fans believe he could finally move on. He was expected to depart last summer, but nothing came to fruition.

Matheus Nunes reportedly has interest from Liverpool and Chelsea.

And Joao Moutinho is out of contract this summer. It could be that Wolves don’t offer him an extension.

It will be interesting to see if something happens this summer with Wolves and Khedira.

Union are having an unbelievable season and Khedira has made huge contributions to their lofty position in the league table and run to the Europa League quarter-finals.

Unsurprisingly, several clubs are now taking a look at him.

Khedira’s contract actually expires at the end of the season, so there’s a chance for someone to do some very shrewd business indeed.
