Wolves potentially need to get a move on over Habib Diarra as Lens join the race

Time may now be of the essence for Wolves regarding Diarra.

It is very possible he will really fancy joining a club that has gone from strength to strength in recent times.

Lens are on an amazing journey under Haise, and the fact they’ll be playing Champions League football next season is fantastic. And that is going to really help them attract some good players and prospects.

Diarra may well want a slice of that.

With Wolves having financial difficulties, it’s possible the club could ended up missing out on Diarra.

He is apparently valued around the £20 million mark.

Right now, that is a lot for Wolves to pay for one player and there has been narrative about a need to sell players first to balance the books a bit.

By the time Wolves make the sales they need, Diarra could already be a new Lens player.
