Diarra has been making waves over in Ligue 1.

The 19-year-old has made 30 appearances across all competitions this season, and just recently he has really been impacting matches.

He’s scored three goals and made two assists in his last six games in Ligue 1.

His goal against Troyes was an absolute rocket, and came just hours after Wolves first got linked with the player.

That link also included eight other Premier League clubs.

Clearly, Diarra has really caught the eye, in what is actually his third season with Strasbourg.

The Daily Mail report that Diarra is actually keen on a move to Molineux this summer.

But it’s stated there are concerns about possible interest from Chelsea. If the Blues take a vested interest, ‘transfer talks could stall’.

It was previously reported that Strasbourg would be looking for around £20 million to sell Diarra.

It remains to be seen if Wolves will have the cash for such a deal this summer.

The club are apparently navigating some financial difficulties at the moment, and we have been led to believe that player sales are required.

Habib Diarra looks a fantastic young talent, as report claims midfielder would make move to Wolves

This is an interesting claim from the Mail.

Diarra looks like a young player with a very bright future indeed.

It is also stated by the Mail that Diarra has been scouted by Manchester City, which perhaps tells you all you need to know about his potential.

Wolves look set to lose some midfielders this summer.

Ruben Neves has been heavily linked with an exit. And Joao Moutinho appears to be ready to leave as a free agent. Matheus Nunes is also again being linked with a move away.

So Wanderers could well create room for Diarra.
