Wolves could reportedly extend Goncalo Guedes’ loan spell at Benfica.
O Jogo have reported this morning that the winger could stay with the Portuguese giants on a loan basis next season.

There were reports recently that Benfica were considering a permanent deal for Guedes.
O Jogo say Wolves would ideally like to sell Guedes and try and recoup the £27.5 million they paid to Valencia last summer.
But they are also open to loaning Guedes out to Benfica again.
It is stated in the report that the injury Guedes suffered in March, which required him to have surgery, has increased the likelihood that the loan will be renewed.
The two clubs will enter into discussions at the end of the season.
Guedes has missed the last five league games for Benfica with his knee injury. But he was back on the bench on Tuesday night as Benfica took on Inter Milan in the Champions League.

He looked set to come on right at the end, but in the end Roger Schmidt decided against it.
So far since returning to his first club, he has made seven appearances and scored two goals.
Julen Lopetegui said in January that Guedes was not happy at Wolves and so the decision was taken to loan him out for the remainder of 2022/23.
Another loan move for Goncalo Guedes doesn’t really help Wolves
Another loan move to Benfica would not really do much for Wolves.
This is a player that doesn’t want to be at the football club, so a permanent deal is needed really. Or at the very least, a loan with an obligation to buy.
Wolves could do with bringing in some money from Guedes to help with bringing new players to Molineux this summer.

Ruben Neves is the only other player who might be departing for a decent chunk of money.
Wolves have spent a lot of money in the last two transfer windows and you get the feeling a couple of big sales could be on the cards this summer.
In an ideal world, Guedes will be one.
