Geoffrey Kondogbia will reportedly meet Wolves this week regarding a potential move to Molineux.
That is the claim from football scout and player agent Berk Bekgoz.
The Atletico Madrid midfielder, 30, is thought to have been on Wanderers’ radar for a fair while now.
Fabrizio Romano reported not so long ago that Wolves did actually make an approach for Kondogbia in January.
In the end, Wolves signed Mario Lemina and Joao Gomes.
But Joao Moutinho has now left the club. And it is expected that Ruben Neves will eventually follow suit.
Potentially, that will create a need for a new midfielder – and it seems Kondogbia is someone the club could move for.
Atletico star Geoffrey Kondogbia set to meet with Wolves this week
According to Berk Bekgoz, who has a fairly hefty following on Twitter of 134,000 accounts and works for the outlet Taktik Mania, Kondogbia is set to meet Wolves officials this week to discuss a potential summer move to Molineux.

He states that if an agreement cannot be reached, then the 30-year-old will go and speak to both Besiktas and Fenerbahce.
Kondogbia’s agent has apparently set up meetings with both clubs should nothing happen with Wolves.
It was reported just this week that Atletico would be looking for just £4.3 million to sell the Central African Republic international.
At the moment, Turkish giants Besiktas have reportedly offered around half that amount.
Geoffrey Kondogbia move would be surprising from Wolves – but maybe asking price is too tempting to pass up
This is an interesting claim and it remains to be seen if anything actually does happen this week.
Kondogbia is clearly out of favour at Atleti and it makes sense they want to offload him given he is quite a high earner.

Wolves holding talks with this player would be very intriguing because he is known for being a tenacious ball-winner.
Wolves have three such players in the squad already in Boubacar Traore, Joao Gomes and Mario Lemina.
But Julen Lopetegui has obviously seen him up close during his time managing in Spain. So he will have a good idea about him and the potential for him to fit into his system.
