Wolves are facing competition for midfielder Andre Almeida from Portuguese champions FC Porto.
According to A Bola, the midfielder has emerged as a target for Sergio Conceicao, who seems him as a potential replacement for former Molineux maestro Vitinha.

Vitinha, who Wolves opted against signing permanently last year after his loan spell, is being tipped to depart the club in this window.
The star was outstanding for Porto throughout 2021/22, and has been heavily linked with an exit.
Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain are thought to be keen.

French giants PSG are expected to win the race for him, with A Bola saying his transfer there is expected to be announced next week.

Should he go as expected, it’s possible that Porto could try and sign Vitoria Guimaraes star Almeida.
The suggestion from A Bola is that Porto’s status as a Champions League club could be what swings it for them.
Wolves, of course, have no form of European football to offer having endured an awful end to 2021/22.
The club were linked with a move for Almeida in May.
Vitinha could end of up costing Wolves Almeida, as Porto eye midfielder
Many Wolves fans struggle to accept how the club let Vitinha go. And now it looks as though he could indirectly end up costing Wolves a potential signing.
The 22-year-old is seemingly set for the Parc des Princes and, if A Bola’s information is accurate, then Almeida might be heading to Porto as his replacement.

If Wolves do have genuine interest in Almeida, then they will perhaps need to move quickly.
Few Wolves fans will hold their breath on that, though.
