Wolves are set to find out if they can sign James McAtee from Manchester City today.
The youngster is a target for Wanderers with just a couple of days left now in the window.
And it is looking like it could right down to the wire.
City are looking to sign Matheus Nunes, and Wanderers are thought to have asked about including McAtee and also Tommy Doyle as part of a deal.
It is thought McAtee may only be allowed to leave the Etihad on a loan basis.
Wolves set to find out if they can sign James McAtee today
Yesterday, it was reported by Alan Nixon via his patreon that Wolves will find out if they can sign McAtee on Wednesday.

So potentially, there could be developments in the Nunes saga today.
If Nunes is going to City, then Wolves are thought to want McAtee included in the deal.
At the moment though, City seemingly aren’t willing to offer what Wolves want.
Wolves would like £60 million for the Portuguese midfielder, although perhaps the club would take slightly less if McAtee was being offered in the deal.
Today could be a busy one for Wolves
It will be really interesting to see what today brings.
McAtee – previously called ‘a special player’ by Pep Guardiola – heading to Molineux seemingly all hinges on whether City make an appropriate offer for Nunes.
Last night, Gary O’Neil said after the game with Blackpool that an improved bid had not yet been forthcoming.

Ideally, this Nunes saga will not go all the way to transfer deadline day.
That said, you would not put it past City to stretch it out to the final hours in the hope of tempting Wolves to sell.
