Manchester City are reportedly only willing to loan James McAtee, in any potential deal for Wolves star Matheus Nunes.

The Portuguese midfielder looks like he will be leaving Molineux.

The 25-year-old has gone on strike at the club in order to force through a move.

If an agreement can be reached over a transfer fee then he will go, as Nunes has reportedly already agreed personal terms.

But interestingly, Wolves have expressed interest in two City youngsters.

But City are not willing to sell one of those young players permanently…

It is stated that, ideally, Wolves would sign both of these young talents.

But in the case of McAtee, City do not want to lose him permanently. They would only be open to sanctioning a loan exit.

There is no mention of City’s stance over Doyle.

Presumably, the club would be open to selling the 21-year-old.

Wolves should aim to land both City youngsters as part of any Nunes deal

It will be fascinating to see what transpires in the coming days.

Wolves could really do with getting at least one of these young players in if Nunes is going to head to the Etihad.

Simply because time is of the essence and actually, both are very talented young players.

McAtee is especially exciting. He can also operate in wide areas, which makes him pretty desirable.

If City can sell Nunes and get Doyle in permanently and McAtee on loan, then that would be some good late business.
