Wolverhampton Wanderers are being linked with an audacious double swap move that would see two Valencia players head to Molineux.
According to SER Deportivos Valencia, Wolves are considering offering both Romain Saiss and Rafa Mir in exchange for Goncalo Guedes and Kang-in Lee.
It is a big claim, but one that might well have been coming given previous reports.
Both Saiss and Mir have been linked with exits from Molineux this summer,
Mir for most of the year, and Saiss just last month by The Athletic.
Lee and Guedes are two players that were linked with Wolves earlier in the summer.
At the moment Guedes is being heavily linked with a move to Wolves.
It was reported by AS that Wolves would look to sign the 24-year-old if Adama Traore departed the club.
Guedes, Lee and a centre-back?
This is a very interesting claim.
Lee is a really good technical player who could potentially make for a long-term Joao Moutinho replacement.
And Guedes is a versatile attacker who’d be able to provide further squad depth and cover for the injured Pedro Neto.
If Wolves were able to bring the pair in and then add a central defender with experience, then all of a sudden the picture would look much brighter.
Wolves started the window well, but it’s been over a month now since a new came in.
