Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly set to sell Ruben Neves this summer – and fans are not happy.
The claim has come from The Athletic, who say a rebuild is on the cards at Molineux, with the midfielder’s sale a catalyst for change.

Apparently there is an expectation that Neves will leave the club for around £35 million.
There is no mention of any clubs that might be interested in the 24-year-old.
The information follows an earlier claim from Duncan Castles that one of Neves, Pedro Neto or Adama Traore could leave for big money this summer.

Neves has been with Wolves since coming in from FC Porto in the summer of 2017.
The star has been a revelation for Wolves since his arrival, and has been at the forefront of the success the club has had under Nuno Espirito Santo.
Neves had a slight dip in 2020/21, but that was the case for most of the team.
That said, he was still one of the standout players along with Neto.

On social media, the reaction from fans to the claim has been very negative.
Neves is a hugely popular figure in the black country, and news he could be leaving – and for just £35 million – has had fans squirming:
