Wolves fans react to Tottenham’s Adama Traore loan interest

Wolverhampton Wanderers will play Tottenham Hotspur tomorrow, and if reports are true, then the North London club will be keeping a keen eye on Adama Traore.

That is because Sky Sports have reported that Spurs want to sign Wolves’ Spanish winger on a loan deal.

If Traore moves to North-London, then he would be reunited with former Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo.

He would also play alongside ex-Wolves defender Matt Doherty.

The rumours have unsettled some Wolves fans who are looking for additions rather than departures.

This is particularly the case following the double-exit of Owen Otasowie and Rafa Mir during the week.

After these departures, Wolves’ squad is beginning to look increasingly threadbare with new head coach coach Bruno Lage saying that the club had only 15 senior players available.

It is unclear whether Spurs would look to include an option-to-buy, although it is likely given the player’s potential.

Last season Traore dribbled past 173 players, 79 more than Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford, who was second on the list.

Wolves have been reportedly interested in a number of wingers, including Noni Madueke, Goncalo Guedes and Ademola Lookman.

If Traore was to leave, then Wolves may be looking to sign two wingers after the news broke earlier this week that Pedro Neto has suffered a recurrence of his knee injury.

This would leave Wolves with an increasingly daunting task of signing players with the transfer window to close on August 31.

Below is what some Wolves fans had to say about the rumour regarding Traore.
