Report shares Wolves’ stance on Dion Sanderson as new club enter race for youngster

Wolves will reportedly not demand an excessive fee for Dion Sanderson this summer, as they seek to cash in on the youngster.

Sanderson has been on loan at Birmingham City again this season, and had been enjoying a great spell up until he got injured.

Sanderson has been nursing a back problem.

He has been unavailable for around a month now, and the centre-back has actually been spending time back at Wolves for treatment.

But he has still been attending Birmingham’s games.

The Birmingham Mail have reported on Sanderson today, and they say that Wolves see the summer as an ideal time to cash in on the 23-year-old.

The club will not be demanding an ‘excessive’ fee though.

Presumably, the club have faith in the notion that several clubs will show interest, which could prompt a bidding way.

The Birmingham Mail say that Birmingham are keen to sign him permanently. Their manager John Eustace has already said publicly that he wants to sign Sanderson.

But it is also mentioned that Stoke City are now keen on the player.

Wolves and Stoke did business in January, with Matija Sarkic and Ki-Jana Hoever both joining the Potters on loan.

Money to be made on Dion Sanderson as Wolves transfer stance revealed

So Wolves are ready to sell Sanderson – and it’s possible he could fetch a decent price this summer.

He’s really impressed at St. Andrew’s, and is now pretty experienced at Championship level.

There should be fair amount of interest in him this summer.

Wolves would be doing right by not setting the price too high.

There is every chance that a handful of clubs will be trying to sign him and so, there could be a natural increase to his market value.
