The centre-back has been back at St. Andrew’s, after he was recalled from his spell there during the 2021/22 season. He was sent to QPR for the second half of that campaign.

Giles has been with Middlesbrough, and has become an integral player in the starting XI.

Under Michael Carrick he is thriving at the Riverside Stadium, and leads the assists chart with nine so far.

Both of these Wolves youngsters are now very well versed in Championship football.

Between them they have racked up 175 appearances in the division (Sanderson 66, Giles 109).

Without doubt, both have proved themselves as top performers in the English second tier, and this is going to bode well for Wolves.

Wanderers are reported to be open to selling both players this summer.

In the case of Sanderson, it is now ‘expected‘ that he will depart Molineux.

The 23-year-old is currently injured and actually may not play again this season. But he has been solid at the back for Birmingham, and their manager John Eustace has said publicly that he’s hopeful of signing him permanently. He believes Sanderson is a ‘true leader’.

Wolves would also look to do business over Giles, and it’s possible he’ll have a flurry of clubs trying to sign him this summer.

Giles has proven himself as a major weapon for Boro.

His delivery into the box is absolutely fantastic, and many clubs would love to have someone like that to call on.

And Giles’ chance creation and assist numbers speak for themselves. He is a very dangerous player.

If Wolves decide they want to sell, and it seems like the club is indeed open, then it may well be that Sanderson and Giles could easily bring in £10-20million this summer.

They’re both under contract at Molineux until 2025 and both are proven performers in the Championship.
