Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Ruben Vinagre appears to be all set to join Sporting CP.
The 22-year-old is claimed to be only a few minor details away from completing a move – which will be a loan at first.

My Revenge On Ben Foster
According to O Jogo, Sporting will then pay Wolves £8.5 million to turn the move permanent next year.
Further to that, Wolves will then have a 50% sell-on clause for when Sporting come to sell Vinagre in the future.
Interestingly, that is the same as what is being reported about Rayan Ait-Nouri.

The Frenchman is supposedly going to return to Molineux for around £10 million, with Angers having a 50% sell-on clause.
Vinagre enjoyed a good second half of the season in 2020/21.
After struggling for minutes at Olympiacos, he then went to Farmalicao where he was a regular starter.
His performances were good, and league champions Sporting clearly liked what they saw.
Sell-on clause great if true
Some people were up in arms about the 50% sell-on clause that has been negotiated on Rayan Ait-Nouri.
But if Wolves have managed that for Vinagre then that is a least something.

Vinagre may well shine with Sporting, who are in a very good place right now and have developed some great players in recent times.
There is potential he could one day go for big money, meaning a nice windfall would go Wolves’ way.
