Wolverhampton Wanderers fans have been reacting to news that Rayan Ait-Nouri is set to complete a £10 million permanent move to the club.

That’s the claim from The Athletic, who say Angers will have a 50% sell-on clause.

Apparently though, Wolves have a buyout clause should they wish to remove that later down the line.

It is thought Wolves will announce Ait-Nouri in the coming days.

It comes after the original clause – thought to be £18 million (The Athletic) – Wolves negotiated with Angers expired.

Ait-Nouri had a decent loan spell in 2020/21.

He ended up making 24 appearances, with first-choice Jonny Castro Otto starting and finishing the season injured.

Fitness issues for Fernando Marcal also meant there were plenty of chances for him to impress.

Fans took to Ait-Nouri, who showcased an exciting attacking style and great footwork.

There were times though where he looked a little suspect defensively – but such things can be common in young full-backs.

It’s thought Ait-Nouri signing will pave the way for Ruben Vinagre to leave Molineux after four years.

It’s been reported he’ll be joining Sporting CP.

On social media, fans have been reacting to the Ait-Nouri development.

Many see this as brilliant business by the club given the player’s clear potential

£10 million is undoubtedly a great fee.

That said, some have expressed their surprise and dismay at the 50% sell-on clause, which is very high indeed:
