With the January transfer window now well underway, we look back at every player that has been linked to Wolves throughout the month.
It has been a quiet month for Wolves so far. Gary O’Neil has seen no first-team incomings as of yet. However, players in and around the squad have departed such as Fabio Silva and Sasa Kalajdzic who have both left on loan.
The manager is reportedly keen to bring in reinforcements this month to Molineux. The club have been in good form recently.
Wolves have won three consecutive Premier League matches, playing some great football. On Tuesday night, they also squeezed into the fourth round of the FA Cup after a 3-2 victory over Brentford.
However, in the remaining weeks of the transfer window, Wolves will certainly be looking to strengthen where they can. Over the years they have had multiple successes and failures in January.
In this article, we look back on every player that the club has been linked with throughout this month.
Armando Broja

The most recent link in this window. Armando Broja is a striker for Chelsea who is currently struggling for game time.
The 22-year-old has actually scored past Wolves in the past, back in 2022 in a 3-0 win for the capital club.
Wolves are clearly on the hunt for a striker and are long-term admirers of the Albanian. Now, over the past couple of days, the Molineux club have been said to be interested in making a move for him.
We believe that this would be a good signing for O’Neil. However, how true the links are remains to be seen.
Danny Ings

The West Ham man is another striker Wolves are looking at. Danny Ings has been at the Hammers for a year now after signing in January 2023 but has struggled for goals and game time.
The 31-year-old was first linked to the club after Sasa Kalajdzic’s loan move to Frankfurt. Pundits and former managers believe the move would be a good one for the player and Wolves.
However, any potential move could be difficult due to his wages and the fact that West Ham has two players out injured.
Hugo Ekitike

Arguably the biggest and most exciting player linked to Wolves this year. Hugo Ekitike would offer something exciting to the club up front.
The 21-year-old has struggled for game time since moving to French giants PSG. Wolves have eyed the wonder kid since his days at Reims. However, he may now be available after he has become frustrated with his playing time.
Again, like Ings, Wolves will have to try and find a solution to his high wages. Ekitike is reported to be willing to take a pay cut but multiple other clubs are also interested in him.
Said Benrahma

Another West Ham player on this list. Said Benrahma has been linked to offer the club more depth in the winger department.
The 28-year-old was once one of the Premier League’s most exciting players with the Algerian lighting up the division at Brentford.
However, this season has not seen such luck. Just last game, the winger was sent off against Bristol City as the Hammers crashed out of the FA Cup.
Benrahma is highly rated, with a former Champions League-winning club already eyeing up the winger this month.
Che Adams

Che Adams has been linked to Wolves for a while now. The striker only has six months left on his contract but was happy to stay at Southampton after O’Neil failed to get him in the summer.
So far this campaign, Adams has netted seven times in the Championship as the Saints look to get back into the Premier League.
Wolves are now considering re-igniting their interest for the 27-year-old. However, given his recent form, this may be difficult.
Semih Kılıçsoy

One of the lesser-known people on this list. Semih Kılıçsoy is an 18-year-old attacker for Turkish side Beşiktaş.
Kılıçsoy has already netted five times in eight appearances in the league. Wolves have apparently already had a bid rejected for the youngster. However, it remains to be seen if O’Neil goes back in for the attacker in this window.
Borja Mayoral

The former Real Madrid man has been on fire for Spanish side Getafe. Since joining the club in 2021, initially on loan, he has netted 29 times for the club.
Playing up top, Borja Mayoral is just another player that Wolves are looking at to compete for the striker spot. However, they once again face competition with Arsenal also considering a move for the 26-year-old.
Jack Clarke

Back down in the Championship, Wolves are admires of Sunderland’s Jack Clarke. The attacker is lighting up the second tier and has found the back of the net 13 times this campaign.
Wolves have picked up on this form and the 23-year-old could offer more competition on the wings. Clarke would offer something else to O’Neil’s squad and could push Wolves further into European contention.
However, any move that Wolves make is unlikely to happen until the summer.
Chris Bedia

Another striker that Wolves are looking at. Chris Bedia plays for Swiss side Servette and has been bagging the goals with ease so far this season.
The 27-year-old has scored 22 times in 51 appearances in the league since signing for the club back in 2022. Wolves are apparently watching his situation closely especially due to his contract expiring in the summer.
Boulaye Dia

Boulaye Dia was a striker that Wolves were pursuing throughout the summer. The Molineux side was hopeful of securing his services on deadline day. However, Italian side Salernitana rejected the bid and were unhappy with how the striker reacted.
Since then, Dia has found the net four times in nine games in the league. Recent reports have suggested that a move could be back on for the Senegalese international. However, Wolves are running out of time to act.
Noha Lemina

Another PSG youngster, Noha Lemina is Mario Lemina’s younger brother. The 18-year-old has spent most of this season on loan to Italian side Sampdoria. However, he has only made one league appearance.
Wolves have been linked with the midfielder. A loan with the option to buy has been suggested. This move would certainly be a good one and could see the two Lemina brothers link up in the Premier League.
