Rob Edwards, Matt Jackson and Nathan Shi will sit down for a Wolves fans forum event on Tuesday, which is a big opportunity for all of them.
Wolves were relegated a few weeks ago and fans have been dismayed by what they’ve seen this term.
It’s been a nightmare campaign, with the recruitment playing a big part in the club’s demise.
It’s now official – Wolves are relegated from the Premier League after an eight-season stay… 🚨😔
Wanderers fans, where has it all gone wrong and who is to blame the most?!
At Christmas, Nathan Shi came aboard as a replacement for Jeff Shi as the chairman.
He’s now in the job on an interim basis, and is tasked with navigating Wolves back to the Premier League, despite having little experience.
He’ll be aided by Matt Jackson, who became the club’s technical director in November.
As the trio prepare to face the music, there are arguably six questions they will hopefully answer.
For Rob Edwards – What is your vision for next season and how will you turn things around as manager?

As much as he’s struggling at the moment, Rob Edwards feels like he’ll lead Wolves into the Championship, since he was appointed with relegation in mind.
The manager needs to use this opportunity to explain to fans how he views the 2026/27 season, and outline his plans for the campaign.
Ideally, Wolves will get promoted back to the Premier League at the first time of asking, so we need to hear how exactly Edwards plans to bring this to fruition. Whether it be from a tactical standpoint or from a recruitment one – supporters need something to get behind.
Plenty are doubting him at the moment, and many have become frustrated with his incessant positivity amid such an awful situation.
There was a bit of a change of tone at the weekend as Edwards criticised the players, which was actually refreshing, and it would be good to now hear how he intends to proceed.
For Matt Jackson – What do you intend for Wolves’ starting XI and squad to look like?
It cannot be overstated how big a job Matt Jackson has on his hands this summer.
A lot of Wolves fans have questioned Jackson being put into the role of technical director, and now is his chance to prove himself.
We all saw Wolves make a complete pig’s ear of their recruitment in the summer of 2025, when six players came without a single minute of Premier League experience between them and so many established stars departed.

Wolves need to plan much better this time round, and identify targets early. And there needs to be a ruthlessness about the way the club operates.
Jackson needs to tell fans about the groundwork that has already been laid, if any, and the kind of players they’ll be looking to sign, while giving an honest picture of how many of the current crop will depart.
It would be foolish to expect him to name targets Wolves will pursue. But fans need to be assured that the club will be going after leaders, characters as well as players who will be suitable for the Championship.
For Nathan Shi – How are you and Fosun going to get Wolves back in the Premier League and what’s the plan in the event of failure to do this next season?
Shi has made some positive steps since replacing Jeff Shi last Christmas.
He’s done well over season ticket prices, with all supporters receiving a minimum 25% reduction compared to the 2025/26 campaign.
But the work has only just started for Shi, who now has to clean up the mess created by his namesake and his employers.

At the forum, he ought to outline his and Fosun’s vision now that the club has been relegated, and explain to fans how Mission: Get Back In The Premier League will be executed.
Ideally, he will share information about potential investment from Fosun and talk about the budget for the impending rebuild.
This will also be an opportunity for Shi to assure fans about the future should Wolves not gain promotion back to the Premier League at the first time of asking.
