Fosun came under fire from quite a few Wolves fans following the closure of the summer transfer window.

The ultimate shareholders of the club stood accused by some of not handing new manager Bruno Lage the tools he needed to move Wolves onwards and upwards, after a season of struggle.

My Revenge On Ben Foster

It was felt by many that there needed to be more investment.

The lack of another centre-back incoming in addition to Yerson Mosquera was a particular bugbear.

But Fosun did bring in some new faces.

And so far, two of them have represented big wins for them.

Hwang Hee-chan and Jose Sa have both made significant impacts at Molineux.

It was today announced by the club that Hwang has won the Player of the Month award for October.

And goalkeeper Sa won the award for September. And he’s also just been called back up into the Portugal squad.

The Player of the Month award is voted for by fans, and Fosun will surely be delighted to see two of the newbies being recognised.

A win for Fosun, but they must now back Lage properly in January

What is paramount now is that Fosun don’t rest on their laurels.

The squad needs a number of improvements, especially in defence.

Hwang and Sa have come in and done fantastically well so far and Fosun deserve a bit of credit for facilitating those deals. It is already being reported that the South Korean is set to be purchased permanently.

But a number of new faces will still be needed in the next window.

Failure to strengthen could spell trouble for Lage and the club, and invite a lot of pressure on themselves.
