Bristol City’s Alex Scott has been named EFL Championship Young Player of the Season, as the Wolves target prepares to consider his options this summer.
Scott has been recognised for his brilliant campaign, in which he has made 40 appearances in the Championship so far.

Scott has really impressed with his technical quality and versatility, which have allowed him to stand out in most games he has played.
The 19-year-old beat the likes of Middlesbrough youngster Hayden Hackney and Sunderland loanee Amad Diallo to the award.
He joins a prestigious list of former talents which includes Jude Bellingham, Ollie Watkins and Dele Alli.
Scott winning the award will only raise his stock further.
In recent weeks reports have suggested that many clubs are looking to sign him this summer.
Wolves have been linked with the player for a number of months now.
Back in January, it was reported that Wolves held talks with City about a potential mid-season move. But the Robins’ asking price was supposedly too high.
Last month, journalist Liam Keen reported that Scott would be open to making a move to Molineux.
He said: “But as far as I understand it, the player likes Wolves. He would be keen on the move to Wolves. It’s whether they can make it happen, and whether another club turns his head.
“I think Wolves are in a fairly promising position with this one. It depends if they can make it work.”
He also added that Julen Lopetegui ‘absolutely loves’ the player.
Alex Scott’s quality and potential underlined by Young Player of the Year award as Wolves circle
So Scott has officially been named the best youngster in the Championship for 2022/23 – and it is thoroughly deserved.
The starlet has had an amazing campaign for Bristol City, who are set to finish in mid-table.
Scott has seriously proved himself as one of the most exciting English talents in the game today, and he will surely be getting a move to the Premier League this summer. The level he has shown for a 19-year-old is remarkable.

Wolves are known to be very keen admirers.
Ruben Neves and Joao Moutinho could both be departing this summer, so Scott might have the chance to actually become a regular starter at Molineux.
He’ll be expensive. The Bristol Post report he’ll cost £25 million at the very least. But Wolves could very well land themselves a young player with world-class potential.
