The Premier League Asia Trophy marked Wolves’ first venture to China, and it also marked the club’s first trophy on the homeland soil of owners Fosun.
Some of the pack said Fosun must have been “buzzing,” meanwhile others jested that Wolves should already be given the 19/20 Premier League cup.
