Max Kilman has been extremely impressed with the way his Wolves teammate Pedro Neto has started the new season.
The winger has been in fine fettle in these opening weeks of the new season.
Wolves have struggled to pick up points.
But Neto’s personal form has been very encouraging indeed.
So far, the Portuguese has made four assists in the first five Premier League games. No player in the Premier League has more.
Neto has had a tough past couple of years, but now seems to be back on track – and captain Kilman is excited to see how he progresses…
Max Kilman enthused by Pedro Neto’s start to the new season for Wolves
Neto was lively in pre-season, and he has continued his form into the new season.

It’s been great to see, because last term he really struggled in the opening weeks, before picking up a fairly serious ankle injury.
Neto has been a real livewire so far, and some of his deliveries into the box have been superb.
Kilman has been speaking about the 23-year-old, and believes he could really thrive this term. He said (Express & Star): “He’s really got his head down this season, he’s really working hard, you can see a big impact from him – he’s vital for us, we just have to keep giving him the ball.
“He’s a very good lad, very humble and wants to work hard, he needs to keep progressing, keep building – what a player he could become. We’re very pleased for him.”
Neto form is huge for Wolves
It hasn’t been a good start for Wolves in terms of points picked up.
But the good thing is that Gary O’Neil has a few players in really good form.
Neto is very much one of those, and Wolves will hope he can continue his great start.

He has looked really sharp, and he is also working really hard for the team.
You get the feeling that if Wolves’ fortunes are going to turn, he will have had a big say in that.
