Max Kilman has praised Wolves attackers, Pedro Neto and Matheus Cunha for the way they have started the new season.

Wolves have had a tough start, losing four of their first five Premier League games.

But there have been positive signs.

Wolves played extremely well against Manchester United and for a half against Liverpool.

Many chances have been created, but Wolves’ lowly position in the table boils down to just not being good enough at either end of the field.

But Wolves are seemingly close though, and Kilman has picked out a couple of his teammates who are looking good early doors.

And he reckons two players are looking really good right now.

He said (Wolves official): “Pedro [Neto] has been brilliant, Cunha’s played really good as well, but we just need to find a way to finish our chances and score more goals.

“But also, in the other half [of the pitch] we need to defend the box really well, so that will come but we need to look forward to the next game.”

Neto made another brilliant assist on Saturday, crossing for Hwang Hee-chan to open the scoring.

That was his fourth of the campaign already – no one in the division has more.

Cunha has drawn criticism for his latest performance, having squandered a glorious chance to make it 2-0 in the first-half.

Neto is the shining light for Wolves

Many Wolves fans are frustrated with what they have seen so far.

But Neto is undoubtedly Wolves’ shining light at the moment.

He appears to have rediscovered his mojo, which is great to see considering the tough past couple of years he’s had.

He is such a talented and exciting player.

Wolves need him to sustain this level, because it’s going to be a hard season and he is someone who can change games in an instant.

Not only is he a creative spark, but Neto also always works his socks off.
