Wolves could not finish their dismal season with a win at Turf Moor, drawing 1-1 with Burnley.
The 2025/26 campaign is officially over, and Wanderers finished bottom of the pile to earn less than £3 million in prize money.
Wolves had the chance to give the fans a very small positive on Sunday by leapfrogging Burnley into 19th.
Wolves fans, it’s finally over – how are you feeling after our final game?
We have finished 20th and without a single away win in the Premier League all season… 🥴
But Wolves couldn’t get the job done, with Zian Flemming cancelling out Adam Armstrong’s early penalty.
Wolves had chances in the game, but also had Jose Sa to thank for preventing an embarrassing end to what has been a truly awful season for the club.
The travelling fans had hoped to see three points, but it’s officially a full season without winning away – and that puts Wolves into an exclusive club.
Wolves one of two sides in Europe not to record an away league win

Wanderers’ three wins this season all came at Molineux.
They didn’t pick up a single victory on the road and that puts them into a rather embarrassing club.
Italian club Pisa are the only other side in Europe’s top five leagues not to win a game away from home in the league (via E&S).
Like Wolves, they also came bottom of the league and have been relegated.
Wolves are also just the seventh side to go through a Premier League season without winning an away game. The last team to do this was Hull City in 2009/10.
Rob Edwards insists change is coming

After yesterday’s draw with Burnley, manager Rob Edwards turned his attention to next season – ad insisted that Wolves fans can expect to see positive change.
He said: “It’s been a challenge. In the second half of the season we’ve been competitive.
“It’s been tough, but we’ve learned a lot. Now I’m really excited about what we can do going forward – that’s something we’ve been talking about with the supporters as well.
“We’ll have a new-look group and things will be different next season.”
Edwards appears to retain the faith of the hierarchy despite plenty of supporters questioning his position now that the season has ended.
Should Rob Edwards still be Wolves’ manager for the start of 2026/27 season? 🤔
If not, let us know in the comments who the club should look to replace him with…
Undoubtedly, Edwards has made quite a lot of mistakes since he came in and hasn’t got many points on the board.
But he was appointed with the Championship in mind and we’ll now see what he’s really about working with a rebuilt squad.
One thing is for sure, Wolves will have to be much better on their travels. And it goes without saying Molineux will need to become a fortress again.
