The 2025/26 season is finally over and Wolves have finished rock-bottom after failing to beat Burnley.
Rob Edwards had the chance to find favour with some supporters today with a win over Burnley.
But Wolves could only draw 1-1, with Zian Flemming’s strike cancelling out Adam Armstrong’s early penalty at Turf Moor.
Wolves fans, it’s finally over – how are you feeling after our final game?
We have finished 20th and without a single away win in the Premier League all season… 🥴
It was another forgettable performance from Wanderers, who have officially gone the whole season without winning away from home.
Following today’s game, it has now been shared approximately how much Wolves actually earned from finishing bottom.
Wolves’ prize money for finishing 20th in the Premier League
Wolves had the chance to leapfrog Burnley into 19th, which could have seen them earn nearly a few more million than what they have.
But Wolves have finished dead last, and according to the Mirror, the club’s prize money will be around £2.7 million.
Burnley take £5.4 million, while West Ham – who are the final team to drop – have earned £8.1 million.
Tottenham Hotspur, who beat Everton to render West Ham’s win over Leeds useless, will earn £10.8 million.
Then Vitor Pereira’s Nottingham Forest who finished 16th, will take home £13.5 million.

The biggest summer awaits for Wolves
Wolves have long known that they’ll be playing Championship football next season, and while there is frustration about the season we’ve just seen, for many there is also relief.
It’s now time for Wolves to get things in order, and prepare this team for what will be a very challenging season.
The Championship is notoriously difficult. So it is absolutely vital that the hierarchy get the recruitment right this season. We saw last summer what poor recruitment can lead to.
Andre’s new contract is a positive sign, and we now need to see a lot more developments like that if Wolves are to get out of the Championship at the first time of asking.
The parachute payments will help Wolves, but failure to get promoted straight away will make things very difficult after that.
