Some Sheffield Wednesday supporters have expressed their frustration with manager Darren Moore over Wolves youngster Theo Corbeanu.

The attacker is spending the season on loan at Hillborough in a bid to get regular senior minutes for the first time.

He made his Premier League debut last season under Nuno Espirito Santo.

He got a 10-minute cameo against Tottenham Hotspur in the club’s penultimate away game of the season.

So he has dipped his toe in, and the hope was that Corbeanu could use the experience as motivation.

It was decided he’d head to Sheffield Wednesday in League One to further his development.

So far though, opportunities have been few and far between for the Canada international.

He’s only played three Championship matches, coming off the bench each time.

He hasn’t featured for the Owls since the game against Shrewsbury over a month ago.

It was reported today that Corbeanu could end up making a fresh loan move in January if he continues to struggle for minutes.

The star apparently had interest from three other clubs before he went Hillborough.

Some Wednesday fans are livid

This claim has not gone down very well at all with some of Sheffield Wednesday’s supporters on social media.

A few people have criticised Darren Moore for not giving him a fair crack.

Clearly, Corbeanu has made an impression with what little game time he has had, and it is the belief of some that the talented 19-year-old should be getting more opportunities:
