Wolves have gone into the new season with a number of absentees.
Last week, Bruno Lage offered an update on Pedro Neto. He won’t be back for at least two months, but other players are closer to a return.
The Athletic’s Wolves correspondent Tim Spiers has delivered news on Willy Boly, Yerson Mosquera, Nelson Semedo and Daniel Podence.
Podence travelled to Marbella for Wolves’ pre-season training camp.
But clearly he wasn’t able to take much part as he’s basically doing his pre-season preparation now.
Boly and Mosquera both missed the loss at Leicester on the opening day of the season with hamstring injuries.
Mosquera was at the Under 23 game last night but clearly isn’t ready for the training pitch yet.
Nelson Semedo played in that game, having missed the final pre-season friendly against Celta Vigo.
He was on the bench against Leicester and used the 2-1 win over Middlesbrough to build up his fitness.
Semedo should be fit to face the manager who brought him to Molineux when Nuno Espirito Santo brings his Tottenham side to town on Sunday.
That’s a boost for Lage, who is still trying to find the right formula, and having more players available will make that task easier.
