Glenn Hoddle showered praise on Wolves duo Ruben Neves and Joao Moutinho after the club’s 1-0 win last night.
Bruno Lage’s side got back to winning ways in the Premier League at the Amex Stadium.

After narrow defeats to Liverpool and Manchester City, getting three points on the south coast was really important.
And the team got the job done, with Romain Saiss scoring the game’s only goal.
It was a terrific finish from the Morocco international, who volleyed first time on his weaker foot from a beautiful clipped through ball from Neves.
Brighton applied some pressure late on. But Wolves’ three centre-halves were especially good once again.
Adama Traore also had a good game after initially starting on the bench.
The Spaniard came on early though after Hwang Hee-chan went off injured.

After the game, former Molineux boss Hoddle picked out Wolves’ midfield duo Neves and Moutinho for praise on BT Sport.
He said: “They are such a tough side to break down. That back three are so organised. I thought the two in midfield tonight, Neves and Moutinho, they were outnumbered in there at times, but they worked like trojans in there to get pressure on Brighton’s midfield.”
Neves and Moutinho certainly both worked hard.
The pair have been Lage’s favourite combination to use this season.

The Portuguese pair were really good last night and really helped to protect that defence and also recycle possession.
It has been questioned in the past. But just at the moment, the partnership is working well.

Neves and Moutinho have had lots more good games together than poor ones this season.
Wolves still need to bring in reinforcements in January. But fans can be very pleased with the form of the Portuguese stars.
It’s great to see the master and the apprentice doing well.
