It was a big day for young Wolves defender Dion Sanderson yesterday.
The 21-year-old signed a new long-term deal with Wolves. His previous one had just a year left to run.
Having done that, he then completed a loan move across the Midlands to Championship outfit Birmingham City.
And he posted a message to Wolves and Blues fans on Instagram after signing both deals.
There had been transfer interest in Sanderson this summer while his contract situation remained up in the air.
Sanderson spent last season on loan at Sunderland and the League 1 club tried to buy him this summer.
Their bitter rivals Newcastle also joined the race but were unable to convince him to sign.
Sheffield United are also reportedly long-term admirers but were unable to get him in to strengthen their defence after their relegation.

It feels like the decision which has been made is the best for all parties.
Wolves get to keep a talented young player who could have a bright future at the club.
But he also gets to continue his development in the Championship, which is a step up from the third tier where he impressed last season.
Newcastle, Sunderland and Sheffield United’s interest underlines Sanderson’s quality, and he’ll hope for a chance in Wolves’ first team at some stage.
