Wolves have had good representation at the 2026 World Cup, and that continued last night as David Moller Wolfe made an impact for Norway.
Wanderers have seven players at the tournament, with a couple having already scored in the form of Raul Jimenez and Ladislav Krejci.
It has been an entertaining tournament so far, with a whopping 58 goals being scored already. That gives an average of 3.05 per match.
There has been criticism of things such as the hydration breaks, but the football has definitely delivered.
And last night, Norway were involved in another great match.
They ran out 4-1 winners against Iraq – and David Moller Wolfe gave a good impression in a boost for Wolves and new manager Cesar Peixoto.
David Moller Wolfe shines in 4-1 win for Norway at World Cup

Many tuned in last night, eager to watch Erling Haaland make his World Cup debut.
The Manchester City striker played a key role in getting his country to the finals, and given his huge profile, was the player most fans had their eye on.
And he delivered, scored two goals in the game.
And one of those goals was brilliantly assisted by David Moller Wolfe, who provided an overlap before sending in a perfect cross for him to bundle home.
As per Sofascore, Moller Wolfe was tidy on the ball, completing 36/43 (84%) passes, and contesting nine duels. He also made one block and one tackle.
Moller Wolfe struggled for minutes at Wolves in 2025/26, having joined the club last summer.
Ultimately, Hugo Bueno was preferred on the left.
But for his country, on the biggest stage, Moller Wolfe looked comfortable and this may stand him in good stead with the new manager.
There’s been talk of Hugo Bueno attracting attention from other clubs.
If the Spaniard does go, then Moller Wolfe will surely become a Wolves regular.
Have Wolves made the right decision appointing Cesar Peixoto? 🤔
A NINTH managerial job since 2019 for Peixoto and first outside of Portugal…
The club should not entertain the idea of selling him as well, as clearly he provides attacking threat, as well as physicality.
Peixoto places big emphasis on full-backs joining the attacking play, and Moller Wolfe would probably become an important outlet if Kieran Trippier was playing on the other side.
The new signing would perhaps be less conservative given his age, meaning the Norwegian could be required to get forward more.
